This semester I was introduced to many new classes. While they may have taken a while to get used to, I enjoyed the bulk of the semester at the computer thinking about my next projects and assignments. This 300 level class gave me a beating several times. Although it seems awful, I did live through it to tell the tale. See, at the beginning of the semester she told us we would be spending a total of 10-15 hours on her class a week. Unfortunately, I surpassed much of this time taking her online quizzes. I did end up learning that no one student should expect less just because it's an online class.

During the duration of Technical Communication, we had to create a portfolio to exhibit the different types of work that we had done over the course of the semester. This portfolio was part of a final project that we had to create for a final grade. I completed an insane amount of work in a very short time, so forgive me if anything doesn't look proportionate. I tried my best to make everything look according to what my original ideas were.

As part of the list of requirements within the Mass Communications Department, each student must participate in the Newspaper Practicum class. This class involves newspaper production, editing, reporting, sports, campus news, you name it. This class became beneficial, because not only did I find out that I'm more interested in graphic design, but I'm also willing to do any journalism work as well. Through this class, I became more fond of the design aspect than the actual writing and editing portion.
